Local radio show, 3HL, I think they had bad info. Followed with a retweet from last week. Mods can kill this thread.

Some locals not know what twitter is and a week late to the party. Not saying it won't ever happen, but it isn't happening today.

Sorry Hilltoppers, I guess yall will just have to suck it up and deal with the fact you're stuck here with the rest of us.

Of course, we rock...but you seem a little sad...?

Most WKU fans favor bball over fball (even though everyone knows football drives the bus from a $$ and realignment standpoint). The Sun Belt is getting worse in bball over time and our fans are about sick of the Belt being lower than the OVC in by RPI ratings. The real problem is that there is no appeasing our fanbase. The MAC would be a decent fit, but fans would complain that the basketball is just as bad and we don't identify with the North. C-USA would be nice, but fans would complain that they have lost nearly all of their marquee bball teams. Our fans (not the ones on here, but just in general) seem to think we belong in the Big East or the MVC. I'd say a majority would even drop football back to FCS if it meant getting in. You can see how this would be depressing for a WKU bball fan.

Oh, goody, y'all head to the OVC and UL takes your place. Cannot think of a thing that would make a better deal.

I'm hoping we'll give you a good game - if WKU's still in the Sun Belt when we get there. Adding New Mexico State would also raise the level of cager play. Hang tight.
