The bad thing is that I see the SBC losing as many coaches as we do teams during realignment. It all trickles down.

That could be a good thing.

For the longest time, none of our coaches went anywhere. It was hard to sell to a good candidate that you can do big things here and move on.

Now we can. It will make it much easier to attract quality replacements.

And lets face it, it will be tough to keep guys until we can match the deep pockets of the competition.

It certainly can. It just depends on how many openings "above" the SBC fill with HC and how many fill with coordinators. Any opening that is "above" the SBC that is filled by a coordinator from another school(or from within) changes the direction of the trickle down from HC to coordinators.
