Jacksonville State fires head coach
Big news may be coming on a replacement as early as tomorrow. Some tied to the university are saying that a coach has already been chosen, and it is also being said that the coach could be a big name. The school is preparing for bigger changes ahead...

FWIW, I'm rooting for you guys to get to FBS. If not now, later. Keep working at it.

IF JSU were to make it to the SBC they are REALLY going to have to up their budget.

They only paid Crowe 150k. Match that with ASU and UL who are paying closer to 1 million

Troy is on the lower end of HC pay at (375k) but we dont have to pay him a lot to stay.

Great point, and we know that the salary will almost have to double to get a name in here. Thanks for the kind words... When a coach, like Blakeny or a coach like Crowe, enjoys where they are and love what they're doing money isn't what makes them tick. Crowe accepted less money so his coaches could earn decent salaries to support they're young families. This change had to happen in order for us to grow.

Good luck to all the teams, and the SB, in all this realignment. It's pretty crazy up there it seems.
