Rematches tend to favor the team that lost the first time around. So Opelika should play them a lot tougher if they get to play Hoover again. Might not win ..but should be a better game

Sorry, I misread that. I though it was Oneonta instead of Opelika.

Have no idea about Opelika.

Oneonta is in 4A & beat 5A Mortimer Jordan like a rag doll.

As long as someone beats Hoover, I'm happy.

It isn't going to be the fighting Smaugs tonight though.

Clay's, of course.

Hoover's a damn machine. Clay was bigger, faster, and stronger at every position, and still lost badly.

That pretty much sums up my opinion of Hoover.

Ill be at the Opelika-Hoover game. This town has been wanting something like this for years. We could never make it out of the third round until we beat Auburn last week. We have already beaten 2 teams that beat us during the regular season, so we might as well make it 3 with Hoover.
