OMV didn't shine until his senior season....but man did he shine! I loved the passion he played with.

I still have nightmares of him pulling up from like 25 feet and me just knowing it was going in...

but the socks...c'mon man. That was awful.

Met him on the elevator in Hot Springs. Seemed like a good dude, and he didn't rub it in, too much. Just a big sh*t-eatin' grin on his face.

the thing i've hated about maestri running a flea market for jucos is they suck the brown o-ring early in the season but by mid-season (conference play) the players actually know each other by name.

and maestri recruits offense. i still have nightmares of mcdummy's players not guarding hazard and him raining fire on our heads.

maestri either chooses not to teach defense or doesn't know how. if they're on offensively there's not a lot you can do. but if they're off a little their matador dee will keep you in the game.

i would think the new facilities will help him recruiting.

they did beat mississippi state. so did unc by 46. so did marquette by 27. so did texas by 14. all in starkville so that win is not looking so sweet.

Mississippi State lost those games in the Maui invitational Hawaii

my bust amigo. when i was looking at their schedule on espn it didn't have the '@' symbol in front. and didn't show it being a tourney. i was scratchin' my bald head wondering how in the hell they got unc to come to miss.

but a neutral court doesn't really negate the asswhoopins they are taking.

texas is HORRIBLE. rick barnes is the biggest fraud in coaching. next to mack brown. how in the hell THE university of texas puts up with both of those jokers is beyond me.
