Sun Belt Title Game - TV?
Is the game getting picked up anywhere? Given the thin slate of games next week and the time of kickoff, it would fit perfectly into an ESPN time slot. Big East/MAC/PAC 12 are on Thur/Fri and CUSA starts at 11:00 on Saturday. No other championship games until Saturday night. Just wishful thinking.

ESPN would rather show the rodeo finals or Div. II semifinals...

Not even remotely true, they've picked up midseason SBC games before, why not pick up a defacto title game.

Or worse...a poker tournament that was taped earlier in the year.

Well my comment was more of a general comment. As in there are live sports going on around the country that I can't find access to, that could be aired by ESPN, but instead they are showing a poker tournament taped months ago.

The game is now on ESPN3. Better than nothing, though I'll be at The Vault watching the game in person.

How many last game winner-takes-all showdowns have there been in SBC history ? The only other one I can recall quickly is NT-NMSU in 2002 on Thanksgiving Saturday.

2002 was not winner take all. North Tx won and did, but if nmsu had won the aggies would have only SHARED a CO-championship. The 2002 game was one of three that would have had a co-championship on the line if it went a particular way. I believe this game, between Ark State and Middle Tennessee is the first in Sun Belt history to be winner take all, meaning the winner is alone at the top of the final standings.
