Bang. It is done! I hope they are as good as I feel like they are.

How weird is it that we are done recruiting for this year!? Our coaches are off and running on the next signing class!

Excellent!! And the 6'8" guy from Augusta attended my main squeeze's high school.

I'm very impressed with this staff's recruiting so far. I'd expect Mehinti and Washington to get quite a bit of playing time next season since we need more size. We could be 13 players deep next year.

It feels like Christmas.

I can't evaluate talent for squat, however if these are the players that the coaches think can help us out I believe in their judgement.

I like all the presidential names. We already have a Taylor and a Tyler.

When is the last time we had five recruits sign in the early period? Breath of fresh air.

The last time we had 5 open spots may have been the year after our 5 seniors & Corey Jackson left.

I think we had five open spots after Anderson left and Davis was incoming.

We also had about five open spots when the grades were announced that fateful December in Davis's second year.

Wow. I still remember the empty feeling that left... Almost as bad as when PD3 went down with the ACL.

It's a breath of fresh air, that's for sure.

I'll be honest, I'm not expecting this recruiting class to be our saviors when it comes to our return to relevance in the basketball world, but the fact that the coaches can now begin to focus on a class of guys that are currently juniors in high school gives me great hope for the quality of recruit we'll be able to land in the near future. You can learn a lot more about a recruit, his ability and personality, when you spend more than the 3 months prior to the season getting to know them.

I finally feel like we have someone who is here with the knowledge, talent and drive to build a program.

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!!!!!!!!!! we dont do things like this at UAB. what about the fans who like basketball recruiting? what are we going to do august? instead of searching recruiting sites for fifth year transfers and unsigned jucos to see who might fill out our team ill have to watch reruns of alf

Brian Mackin made hires in his two biggest sports. From what I have seen thus far, he gets a gold star.

Evaluate the recruits for the NEXT class.

I think I will pass on Alf. Maybe I can find a rerun of Black Sheep Squadren on somewhere.
