Well I thought that POW honors went to players who had the biggest impact that week. You can be a great player and still not be the best player on a given week. Don't think this is designed so each team gets a player chosen at least once.

Silly blogger!!

Exactly.

Hell I thought Oku was robbed!

22 carries for 131 yards and 3 TDs - plus 2 receptions keying a huge win. What more does a RB have to do?

And I can't remember them giving the award to a losing team much - maybe that explains some of FAU's bad POW streak.

Crap back when I used to do the Good, the Bad and the In-Between it seemed nearly every week I'd comb the box scores and see Joe Schmo had a break-out game and looked like a contender to be a player of the week and either someone else had a clearly better game bumping them or a star player who had been passed over two or three legitimate times had a roughly equal performance and got the award.

To win it you not only need a great game, you need for no one else to have as good or better of a game.

In criminal defense cases you talk about anything but the facts when they do not support you. FAU sports writers seem to want to focus on blaming the Sun Belt for lack of a POW, instead of poor play by their local teams.

I mean really, we are shunning one of the biggest market teams in the belt? Yea, I see that happening every chance they get.

Some SBC RB had a 149 yds last weekend. I forgot who it was though.
