Look at the ACC in football, to me it makes more sense to call 'them' the New Big East than it does for the the current Big East. <br>
The top teams in the ACC ARE old BEast teams. The current BEast members are 'The Big East'. <br>

Who cares about Miami, VT and that other team? It is time for WVU, Louisville, Pitt, Syracuse, Rutgers, SFU, Connecticut and Cincinnati to step out and show what they can do in the Big East. Look at the big picture and the great histories of teams that are there now. Many were strong back in the days when east coast schools were independent and that continues today. With eastern schools being scattered everywhere they should bring back the Lambert Trophy voting. I don't think Miami and VT were originally even in the mix.

They still have have the Lambert Trophy voting last year Boston College won.

Is it posted anywhere on the Internet? I had no luck with a search.
