Looks like the ACC is trying to help BYU stay independent.

When the games are scheduled is just as important as who BYU schedules them against. They should have no problems building a good August/September schedule. The thing to watch is BYU's October/November schedule when schools are in the heart of their conference season. This is especially true if additional conferences go to 9 game schedules.
