What I find amusing and hypocritical is that every one of the cautions that JB brings up about programs entering the BE not only apply to the defecting programs going to the ACC, but also to every team that has changed conference from the other leagues during realignment as well. What a turd he's been about this entire thing. Buh Bye...

So Boeheim thinks Memphis has a great program but doesn't think they have any fans living in NYC?

News flash to JB: You're leaving. The Big East had to get the best available BB schools. They weren't located in NY.

Oh yeah, Jim, we added a few football teams outside NY, too.

Seriously, we don't have many fans who live there, relatively speaking, but we'll travel pretty well. And I'm not sure why he thinks a team has to have a multitude of fans living in NYC to make the league viable. The connection is the BET in MSG. All the good teams will represent well, and there will be enough great matchups to continue to pack that place.
