If you want to be a fan, be a fan, or write an editorial.

Don't imply we run a dirty program. Don't insult our coach and insinuate he's an ******* based on things you "heard" without saying what they are.

You are supposed to be a reporter. Plus, she takes her coach at face value by assuming there is some unwritten pact that an all out blitz means the other team throws the ball away.

If you don't want us to throw the ball for a TD, don't send 11 guys to hit our QB when the game is out of hand.

But her conclusion that the team with class doesn't always come out on top implies our team doesn't have class. What a piece of **** newspaper and hack of a writer.

I have a lot of respect for Coach Berry, Browning and many ULM fans.

For a school that started Cajunhateweek and referred to us as ULL when we asked to be called either UL Lafayette or the Cajuns you certainly get pissy when things don't go your way.

Rant off - I wish Browning a speedy recovery. He and your team deserve more people in the stands.

If you would have lined up to kneel in v formation. We would have not blitzed.

If your secondary plays coverage, then this whole topic is a mute point!

Berry is going to win the recruiting battles: "You don't want to play there, they ran the score up on us."

But you don't see that play very often with 4 seconds left and a 10 pt lead. This will hurt Hudspeth if he's ever fired and looking for a job.

Let it go son... DO NOT send the house on the last play with the game out of hand... you paid..

LOL!! Tabby insinuates somewhere in that lame excuse for professional journalism that Hudspeth was passed over for that job... Thats more fabrication on her part..

A lot of coaches don't line up in the V formation. Doesn't change the fact that your beat writer accused us of running a classless program.

I think the article is a distraction from a truth ulm is not yet ready to admit.

Easier to cry foul than look honestly in the mirror as to what happened in the other 59 minutes and 56 seconds.

Berry is an idiot.

He rushes all 11 defenders and then says we should have throw it out of bounds in that scenario?!?!?!? This is not a f'ing charity event!!

No doubt we got beat. But the last play was not cool. You lined up in offensive set instead of kneel formation. Obviously you were coming to pass the ball.

Exactly we were going to scramble then throw the ball downfield where it would be picked off or incomplete. Instead, Coach Berry sent 11 guys to hit our QB and he dumped it off 15 yards downfield and jogged to the endzone.

Your beatwriter is still unprofessional

ULM - welcome to Sun Belt conference relevance. The truth hurts. You guys are probably toast. It sucks to fall from the top. Trust me, we've done it plenty of times. This bitterness over the Cajuns scoring an irrelevant touchdown is stupid. Be bitter over your defense letting them go on a 99 yard, 9 minute drive to put the game out of reach.

What do you not understand about the play?

There was 4 seconds left.

If UL kneels, ULM gets the ball on the 15 yard line.

"Like Berry said this week leading up to the ULL game about his own team, "I think there's some credibility with our staff and our players amongst each other. I implicitly trust them. I know I don't have to worry about a late night phone call or going to class, and I think they know they don't have to worry about a late night phone call from me too."

Coach Hudspeth has heard plenty of this garbage coming out on Monroe and not just this week! Attacking the guys character on message boards and amongst their alumni after he turned down the job at UL-Monroe. Tabby even suggest such things were said in her article when she referenced things she had heard about him during the interview process.
But its just like the Monroe crowd to attack someone behind the scenes and when the word gets out about their rhetoric pretend they are the victims.

I know Hudspeth and his staff didn't need much motivation for this game.

And I'm sure Tulane thought ULM was all about class after dropping 63 points on them and scoring on a 42-yard run by McNeal with 2:51 left in the game. Why didn't he take a knee after making the first down?

More hypocrisy coming out of Monroe today!

I had a respected football coach a long time ago in North Carolina tell me something about football that fits this situation. "When the game is over, WINNERS laugh and tell jokes, LOSERS cry deal."

If you didn't want to leave 4 seconds on the clock and 4th down, Berry shouldn't have burned his last timeout under 2 minutes left. If Berry wouldn't have burned the timeout, we would have taken a knee to run out the game.
