I just think Birdsong offers better leadership and will become a better QB. He had his first start this past week and played like a freshman, but he also looked better than Thorpe any many areas. I am convinced that Birdsong will be a good QB. He will play better next week than he did against GAST. With that said, I thought it was interesting that MM stated according to Stoss that he thought we tried to pass too much against GAST. hmmm....will probably run more than pass against Maine.

I recall we beat out ASU to get Thorpe. Thorpe had a ton of talent, but he had some non talent issues that prevented him from maximizing his success.
