Texas State vrs San Jose State
Bobcats have to face the top three WAC teams in a row starting @ San Jose State this weekend. We have @Utah State and Louisiana Tech (Bobcat Stadium) after that.01-ncaabbs

I think we can remain competitive for a bit with San Joser, but I see Utah State and LaTech blowing us out of the water.. especially seeing LaTech against A&M - yikes! :domokun:

I guess it's a good thing they aren't playing Houston this year based on the way the Cougs beat y'all down...oh wait.

Eh

We know what we are....a 1st year FBS with 2 recruiting classes under our belts.

Thought 4-5 wins would be a good sign and we're almost there. We went in with both feet with 11 FBS games on our schedule and pulled an upset. We knew the year wouldn't be pretty but it will show us where we need to shore up our team. That's all we can ask for.

TXST, has there been any rumored progress on your OOC schedule for next year? I see that you currently have Wyoming at home and Tx Tech on the road. I was hoping we would start a series with you guys next year, but we just announced a game with Idaho that filled the open spot we had. Maybe something will happen in 2014.

Our AD has stated that he wants to keep at least 1 SLC opponent on the schedule (Sam, SFA, or Lamar)

FCS, Wyo, TTU
9 game conference schedule.

Don't disagree with that approach. Wouldn't mind seeing us do the same against those three teams.

Would like to see us play UNT some time (perhaps somewhat regularly). Maybe some sort of rotating schedule with the C-USA Texas teams (UNT, Rice, UTEP, UTSA)...

Isn't the Sun Belt only playing a 8 game conference schedule next year? Maybe 2014 too.

Speaking of 2011, did you see Bridesmaids? Funny stuff.

Congrats on beating a team that didn't give a damn about anything other than getting back on the bus.

Other than their close loss to Texas A&M, La Tech's opponents all have 2 or fewer wins. Big Names like Illinois and Virginia but they are both weak this year. Maybe Texas State can pull a Houston type game on the Bulldogs!

Please let this happen! ULR is already getting on my nerves. And it isn't even next year yet.

Well, you still have New Mexico State to play and they lost to Idaho so that should be a win for you. UTSA should be an interesting game. You and UTSA have done a lot better than any expected this year. I think Texas State shows real promise for the future. Good luck with the rest of the season! 04-cheers

Know for sure it won't happen in 2013. Our OC schedule is set with Idaho, Ohio, Ball State and Georgia.
