I think the answer is pretty simple at this point. It's Taggart. He's a recruiting machine and the results have been showing up on the field for the last season and a half or so.

If I absolutely had to trade I would go with Hud. I don't want to trade, but he would be my choice if it was required.

I think there is a real lack of bad coaches in the Belt right now. Not every team can win every year, but I don't know of anyone who I would say needs to be canned right now.

Probably Berry. Very affordable. He does more with less.

Taggart would be gone by the end of the year.

Hud. I think the coach has as much to do with fan support as he does results on the field. He has done both

You guys certainly hope Willie is gone after this season. I guess we will just have to wait and see. For WKU, and really most other SBC schools, hiring the next coach is the key to continued success. That is why we Hilltoppers are so excited about Ray Harper in basketball. He is an absolute winner, as you guys will become painfully aware, as the next couple of seasons unfold.

That's a tough question. I'm really tired of the spread offenses that are in the league, so I'd have a hard time choosing a coach seeing that most teams run some form of the spread.

I guess if I had to choose I'd pick Hudspeth or Berry for the simple fact that they're proven winners on the field. Malzahn would piss me off too much with his peewee style play calling, and the rest just don't really excite me too much.

That being said, I'm A-OK with who WKU has right now!!

That being said, I'm A-OK with who WKU has right now!!

I really like Berry, but I also like Hud and Taggart. I would probably take Hud first after Berry and then Taggart.

I wouldn't trade for any SBC coach I would hire with in the WKU staff. I know that wasn't the intent of the question but it did say "coach" not head coach...even if that's all was listed.

My pick would be Lance Guidry as long as he was able to promote with in the staff and find a way to keep the staff intact WKU would be OK.
Especially Eric Mathies who just has a eye for talent and coach Woodie who is a legend in the south fla. high school coaching ranks.

The deal breaker for me would be switching from the west coast offense...maybe a few of the spread plays but no overall changes

I do like what Berry is doing with ULM.

I love that they go for it on 4th down almost every time.

We have to give Pelini some time, but I think he's dissapointed that the kids havent "put it together" yet for FAU.

Right now I'd go for Berry because of his pluck.
