My expectations are low, but any chance that Toledo may be an easier opponent than Ball State or Kent State?
I suppose much of our success or lack thereof going forward will be tied to the mindset of the team. Do they feel sorry for themselves or do they have the resolve to get better?

Of course the "play not to lose" playcalling will need to change. 03-banghead

RE: GameDay Toledo
I'm staying at a hotel in Canton and people keep asking if I'm going to the game and getting confused when I say I'm looking forward to playing the Eagles. They keep saying "We play the Illini" and I keep saying "No we don't". Finally put on my UT hoodie. That helped. See y'all at 1! EMU has some sort of tour for prospective students that included free tix to our game and a couple people said they might go. Three groups I've talked to are here for the EMU tour, two from Chicago and one fron Cinci. But mostly UM and Illini folks.

Good chance of getting wet also the game may have some delays because of lighting.

Yeh that's a shame. Walmart Wolverines are pain in the ass.

Enjoy the game. It's a shame the weather blows, so I can't imagine we'll have a crowd of more than 3,000 or 4,000. Ugh.

RE: GameDay Toledo
Nice drive for a FG. Our OL is still a bit too leaky and our play calling is still hilarious, but at least we moved the ball. Bronson Hill looked strong. He's the most complete back on the team.

Hill is gaining yards despite being hit in the backfield on basically every carry. Impressive so far.

EMU Excitement:

The offense is finally getting in sync after almost 1/2 the season (except for part of the BSU game).

Man, if Benz can continue to open up the passing game, Hill might get a LOT of yards.

Give Hill some daylight and he'll be like a Mack truck.
