Troy will win if wku doesnt make plays and get turnovers. I say it like that because troys offense moves really fast and puts up alot of yards, but I think they put the ball in dangerous places. If wku's D shows up, wku wins.

I know....he's got me second-guessing my prediction because I picked WKU as well.

I think Troy wins. Going to be a close game but there is nothing that gives me a picture of a clear winner, pre-kickoff.

I want Troy to win, ULM and ULL to drop one, to bust this race open again.

I had the same feeling for the UL Troy game...I was so worried about it coming into the season, but felt a bit better once I saw the Cajuns play against Lamar. This could be a great omen for the men of Troy.

I remember in college, I had a HUGE Philosophy exam one morning, and I was staying up late to study.
While I was fighting back the sleep, I decided to try coffee, since all the other fraternity guys drink that stuff like water. I had 2-3 cups because I needed this test very badly.

After about 30 minutes, I was shaking uncontrollably and couldn't sit still. That lasted about 1 1/2 hrs.....and then I crashed. After that fiasco, I figured I'd try to get a couple hours of sleep around 6:00 AM....and slept right through the exam.

And that to say.....have (someone you trust) call to wake you at game time.

Turnovers are part of the game and UL capitalized on them and they played the better game in that aspect. But if you take away our turnovers. And say we went for field goals on those 2 4th and shorts Troy would have won the game 30-23. Even with our humble on ULs 7 yard line.

I've been saying this all week... I'm not saying we will beat WKU because we have not stopped the damn turnovers. but if Troy stops the turnovers in our game with WKU we win.

We had a shorter field to play with. The Cajuns averaged 13.2 yards per completion and 5.5 yards per rushing attempt.

Troy averaged 10.3 per completion (by design) and 2.2 yards per rushing attempt.

The Cajuns pinned Troy inside the twenty 4 times to go along with 2 touchbacks.

The stats do not always tell the story of the true flow of the game.

Holding Troy to 60 yards rushing was the key to the game to go along with field position.

WKU will do the same tonight.

And how may times did we move that ball from deep in our territory? Most the time thats why the 588 yards. not getting those 4th and shorts or going for the field goals killed us.
Also not getting points on our drive where we turned the ball over on the 7 killed it.
