Totally agree.
As much as I hate Loser Tech....they are getting it done this year.
Funny...none of us hate you guys.
Nicely put, TD88.

RE: Coaches Top 25 Poll
Actually guys, my grandfather wears a LATECH national championship ring every day of the week. I know more about the history of our teams than you might think because I was raised in it and if you still hate Louisiana Tech then that's just on you. The fact of the matter is that what I've said is very accurate. No, the ASU is not beneath us; stop putting words in my mouth. What I am saying is that we don't have hate for a team like Arkansas State because we haven't played each other in so many years that it doesn't matter anymore! In competition with? YES. A peer of? Absolutely. But this idea that ALL Tech fans are high and mighty over you is nothing more than your own insecurity. For F---'s sake we have a H&H with ULL coming up; it's not like we think we're University of Texas or anything. And Hog Dawg? Really??? You let that blowhard actually get to you? I'm sorry, I'm starting to get confused as to who is the young'un here. To the matter at hand, you are telling me that Sunbelt guy starts a thread about the Sunbelt teams getting votes and in 3 posts it turns into a discussion on Louisiana Tech yet WE are the ones with the problem? Give me a break. I like a lot of teams in the Sunbelt but unlike you (with LT) I don't root AGAINST them. Some of you (not all) are watching our scores every week just to see if we fail! The chip is fat, heavy, and on no one's shoulder but yours, pal.

When we (the non AQ's) have a game against one of the big programs and we get blown out it hurts all of us.
To me it's great when the school with the smallest budget and one of lowest paid head coach's in the country can beat a top 10 ranked Arkansas to start the year! This is still college after all regardless what the SEC thinks.

Stock and trade "I have nothing to say to that" answer. I think I am well aware of that.
I am of the same mind as winston, when a small program can beat the big guys it's a good thing for all of us. I'm not tearing down ULM for beating Arkansas, why do you feel the need to tear down LT for beating UofI and UVA???

I agree with the assertion that Illinois sucks...so does Arkansas for that matter, but Virginia is a nice win, I thought you guys would lose that.\
For the record, the ASU fans that hate La Tech are the ones who were fans when the rivalry between the schools was huge.

I get that, we could have very easily lost that game. And I can respect the rivalry. But hate? Nah, man. Maybe when you play regularly but at this point it's not hate but hater.

Yep, sucky programs who have better facilities, larger attendance, greater funding, more history, and play in AQ conferences. Yeah, it means nothing.

I'm just saying those wins are no more impressive than our Arkansas. GT, kentucky wins.
La tech is over rated and will lose this weekend

RE: Coaches Top 25 Poll
With MWC and CUSA experiencing a down years the Sun Belt has potentially as high as six schools that could be bowl eligible. The legitimate contenders are down to Louisiana, Louisiana-Monroe, and Western Kentucky. Those three teams are a cut above the rest of the league and are virtual locks for bowl games. After that there is a "2nd tier" of Arkansas St, Middle Tennessee, and Troy just outside the top three, but all solid teams that could snatch up at-large bowl invitations. If Troy can beat Western on Thursday maybe they can break into that first tier.
