It most certainly does not have to happen. Do you really think Troy is your best shot at someone knocking off the toppers? They still have to host ULM and play in Lafayette, not to mention host their biggest rival on national television. It certainly appears Western has a better team than middle this year, but they definitely had the better team last year and it took OT for them to beat us last year not to mention the fact that since the series restarted in 2007 the home team is 1-4.

Maybe not the best opportunity when you look at how well UL and ULM are playing, but Troy is more than capable of winning this game.

And that '07 game with Middle was SWEET!!!

While we are winning games going away, we are in no way playing like a well oiled machine that ULM is playing like. We have not had a solid game on offense yet this season. We have missed so many open WR for sure fire TDs it is not even funny. We have just been lucky enough to be vastly more talented than the opponents we have beaten.

If and this is a big if, we can get the passing game going like we did at the end of last season we will win every home game we have left on the schedule and the game in Monroe. But I have my doubts from what I have seen this season.
