There is no need to act like a ******. You are ignoring the score and the time when the play happened. The mere fact that EMU is in this game militants against your criticism of Karcher.

I think Karcher sucks, but what do you expect him to do versus an very good defense with a team that athletically overmatched? And how do you know the plays have been there? Do you have an all-22?

You're a contrarian-- that's your Schtick. I'm done taking you seriously. You're just here to fight.

To answer your question: When the throws are available all across the field, and Benz is capable of making them, you don't try to physically overpower MSU.

Actually, no. The fact is that Karcher’s strategy worked. You missed that point. That isn’t being an contrarian, that is acknowledging a reality. Passing the ball with an inexperienced QB and a line that is poor at pass blocking versus a top flight defense is not a wise strategy.

Coaching material you are not.

His strategy worked? You mean not producing yards or points unless having them given to you by MSU is a winning strategy? Your insincerity knows no bounds.

Come to think of it, you must be on EMU's board of regents -- you love UM more than EMU, and you don't know what you're talking about.

You are an ignoramus. You apparently think playing INTO MSU’s hands is a good strategy. Brilliance!

MSU has more speed and talent then EMU. EMU has an inexperienced QB and is a primarily running team. Yet, you think it is a good strategy to place this inexperienced QB into a situation where has to beat this top 20 defense with his arm.

I think it is safe to say that it is YOU who hasn’t a clue of what he is talking about.

My thoughts, we played competively especially when you consider that perhaps our best db Pollard and our best OL Neal did not play. Benz is out there and may start the rest of the season because he takes care of the football especially in the passing game-no turnovers. We really had no rushing game against MSU and I don't think a running QB would have made much difference in the game. Coleman had tons of tackles and the defense played with alot of heart today. Special team coverage overall was above average. You take these and reset the team for the conference play.

As you know Dennis, getting information on injuries is difficult, someone else posted that Pollard was gone for the year?

Also agree the key play of the game was Scott's dropped potential TD. It changed everything momentum wise.

One of the things this board lacks is the scores of EMU students who attend games (and classes, I'll explain in a second).

We don't have the posters who said, "Hey, I saw KJ (Kevin Johnson) in class and..."

Thought I heard he was injured. So Pollard is out. KJ is hurting. That is 1/2 of the starting DB.

I didn't know Johnson was hurt. I just figured we benched him for Cotton because of the way Pudge played against Purdue.

Losing Pollard for the year is tragic, though. He's arguably our most talented player on either side of the ball. Looks like Kirkland Bryant will get a trial by fire...its a lot to ask of a true freshman, but if he can consistently provide an effort like yesterday's, he'll be fine.
