UTSA was 175 last week. Beating Georgia State moved us up exactly one spot.

According to those ratings, if the UTSA played TXST at home, TXST would be favored by 1 point.

We beat South Alabama and they're one spot above us? And they're 1-2???

I think that is mainly because they started the season ranked higher than us and they've played a tougher schedule.

UTSA didn't get any credit for the A&M Commerce win.

South Alabama beat Nicholis State and they are higher rated than Georgia State.

A two point loss to UTSA doesn't hurt them too bad.

At least we are moving on up right?

Yeah. I like looking at those rating because they:

1) have a long history
2) include all FBS and FCS teams
3) allow for translating two team's ratings in to a betting line for a game between the two (just subtract the two numbers and add 3 to the home team)
4) give a decent estimate of any school's position in college football
