Out of all the offers that kid had, I have no idea why he would choose Kansas....

What's his reasoning for leaving?

I don't know the exact situation but I think when Charlie Weis was hired and the coaches that recruited him left he asked for a release. He visited over the summer and decided to go the JUCO route instead of sitting out a year. Our current special teams coach was on the Kansas staff & recruited him out of high school so I think his relationship with Kent Riddle was the key factor here. As far as I know he'll be a sophomore next year and should be a player. We've had bust after bust when it comes to big transfers the past few years and I don't see it with this kid.

Riddle recruited him when he was at Colorado.
