Not to mention that CAA teams already have a chip on their shoulder for Ga State leaving after the 1st year in the conference. They are holding no mercy.

hey at least western kentucky can surrender last place in the sun belt finally.

ScState would not win more than 2 games in the CAA. Georgia State just got blown out of their own warm up scrimmage game before their real season starts.

Western Kentucky finished 2nd last year. FAU and MTSU have been fighting for last place recently.

Gonna be a long day against ODU.

Lots of work to do for Georgia State, I am admittedly not shocked about this. Its going to be 4 or 5 years before these guys will be able to compete in the SBC in football.

However, they should be able to compete in other sports right away.

You are correct. They, as well as USA, are going to experience growing pains. However, given their location and budget, I expect them to be very competitive within the next 3-5 years. These things take time, and although SC State is MEAC they did hang 21 on Indiana in 2011.

Georgia State will be fine. They are FCS. And will soon be recruiting for FBS. FCS teams are supposed to lose, on occasion, to other FCS schools.

This isn't as bad as say, Middle Tennessee, a FBS school, losing to FCS McNeese State. That shouldn't be happening.
