Congratulations on the game yesterday. The better team won.

Also, congratulations on your traveling crowd. You brought a pretty good number of folks.

Thought the crowd was impressive on both sides - UAB had a great turnout, and Troy's side looked very good as well given they were the away team! Hey but just think... At least you're not Memphis 03-lmfao

RE: Troy Fans
Memphis reminds me of UAB in 2007. They just don't have any football players.

RE: Troy Fans
Thanks Smaug....I really think UAB will make waves in CUSA this year, ESPECIALLY since Houston lost to Texas State the conference seems weaker this year...I would not even put it past UAB to have a winning season.

21 redshirt or true freshmen on the 2 deep roster. We can't expect miracles overnight.

Good luck to all the Sun Belt teams against the cartel schools this year.

The two deep listed from Irvine had only 13 redshirt or true freshmen. That's still a lot, but not as many as you implied. There were 22 upperclassmen, a quite a bit of sophomores in there as well. Definitely a young team. I have a lot of respect for McGee, he seems better than some of the other UAB coaches I've seen in the past. Good luck in the future.
