Glad to see the season is here.

Feels like at least our local newspaper is kicking the MT coverage up. I hope there is at least 22k in attendance tonight. Want to be able to hear the roar on ESPN3! [EDIT: I think I predicted 21,600 or so. I want to be underestimating. Hoping for 25k+...]

McNeese has some good fans. They were always great fans win or lose. Their tailgates have awesome food.

About the McNeese team:
They have always tried to maintain a balanced attack run versus pass. Their wideouts are usually very fast. The RB's are their achilles heel with inconsistency. Texas State had defeated them in Lake Charles many times which seems usually difficult to do. They are usually very physical. Their RB's will have the tendency to fumble when popped at times. Key to the game: lead in takeaways and stop their ground game

MT 3, McNeese State 0. 57 yard kickoff return but not a touchdown. Also, just had an un-catchable defensive pass interference... lord, already?
