BTW, pup.. we open today with Lamar, in Lafayette, at Cajun Field. Go to ticket master and look for best seat available...uhhhh none left on the press box side.. lamar is bringing about 200 people. So, that means there will be over 30K for a 1AA in Lafayette, at the same time as big-bad LSU hosting NT in their home opener. Ahhhh, the seperation continues...

Uh, in case you missed it, CUSA completed the separation a few months ago. It is done. As is ULL. It is too late for you guys to do anything about it now. Meanwhile, it is onward and upward for Tech. I didn't realize just how hard you guys were going to take Tech's invitation into CUSA. On a different note, while you're out at the game today, do you think maybe you could get us an updated video of that chicken dance thing that we were all treated to last year? I'm sure everyone would like to see another performance of that abomination.

Separation? Ask an LSU fan the difference between Louisiana and Louisiana Tech. You're kidding yourself.

Right on.
Because alignments and standing the college universe are now set in stone and unchangeable.
I'm sure UTEP and Rice and Tulsa a few years ago were so glad to be rid of inferior teams like La.Tech. I'm sure Louisville, Cincinnati, and South Florida breathed a sigh of relief to be rid of Houston and Memphis. How long ago was it that Texas, Texas Tech, and Baylor were glad to be rid of TCU and Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State were telling TCU "you aren't worthy of joining us"?
Back in 1998 when the BCS formed I'm sure Rutgers and Temple were quite pleased that they were among the elite guaranteed a top bowl if they won the Big East, a status they lose come 2014.
Wasn't so long ago schools like Utah and BYU were simply irrelevant to the college scene.
Too bad it's all settled now and nothing will change.
