Conference vs Conference
Had a neat thought and figured i would share. What if after every season or every other season each conference hand picked the top players within their conference to form a team and battle it out in some sort of playoff system with other conferences...sorta like an All-star game. I know realistically it wouldn't happen but how do you suppose they would set something like that up? Pick players...etc?

My thoughts would be to pick players based off 1st team all sunbelt...2nd team all sunbelt and so forth.. thoughts??

RE: Conference vs Conference
If it was in fact possible, we'd get slaughtered.
It takes a team a long time to 'gel'....not to mention they'd have to learn another playbook.

Also wanted to add, if this did happen...think of all the positives that go along with it:
1) longer football season
2) generate more revenue throughout all the conferences
3) expand television deals/market
4) exposure
etc.

I see what you're saying now.....it would be like an All-star game.

University Presidents think the season's too long as it is.
And, the chance of the top players getting injured right before the draft would prevent most from playing.

It sounds good...but...it'd be an all star game. What do I know about all star games? They're boring.

Yea, realistically i know it wouldn't happen for many reasons, but at the same time it was a neat thought. Any ideas on how they would structure something like? Just for fun..

well every conference team would be in the same boat...i don't think we would get slaughtered considering we would pull the best players in the conference. It would be somewhat interesting to see how something like this would pan out. Being the underdog conference is what makes something like this exciting in my opinion..

RE: Conference vs Conference
Initially, I thought you were saying that we would do the all-star team thingy, and match up with a regular AQ team. I read it wrong...my bad.
