Re: All Things Tribe
Tribe will start our #3 QB against WVU and a couple players will play their first college game.

I believe WVU's HB is 6'4, 250...our D is going to be tired but a few costly turnovers by the Neers may be enough for an upset. See '09 UVA game and duplicate that.

Most would agree W&M showed better than expected. Hate the loss but I saw more good than bad.

RE: All Things Tribe
William & Mary is 2-1 with a close game against WVU and two showings of domination over Hampton and Lafayette. Just outside the TSN top 25 with the toughest part of the schedule just a couple weeks away (not overlooking URI but that SHOULD be a win).

3-1 now and tied for first in the CAA. Favorable schedule so far but our defense has played lights out. Bye week and then the tough schedule begins.

Also should mention M Socc and their big wins over then-#1 Creighton, ranked Elon, and #1 UNC-CHeat. Just need to start winning the ones we're supposed to and we'll be good.

Had highly-ranked UMBC tonight but the game is canceled because of bad weather.

Tribe improves to 4-2 with an exceptional Maine team up next. Big game.

C'mon W&M, exhaust all your effort in a 4 OT thriller to win at Maine, then show up slow and sluggish on the 26th for us.

This W&M D seems very, very good.

You know, I'd take that! Beating Maine would be sweet.

RE: All Things Tribe
Can't believe we're only getting 1 vote in the top-25. In position to beat WVU and #11 Villanova, and have won the rest of the games- still no love. Going to have to grab a signature win against someone like Maine in order to make our presence known.

All Things Tribe
I think some of the voters are wary after we started high the last couple years in the rankings and then tumbled. A win against Maine would have us at 5-2 with two close losses against good teams and a solid win on the road. I think we jump in around 20 or so if we win.

That's my thinking, as well. If we can get through the next couple of weeks unscathed I think we're in the driver's seat for the CAA. I'd love to see that. It would also quiet some of those that are disgruntled with JL.

RE: All Things Tribe
Nothing much better than beating JMU. Tribe defense bounced back from a poor showing last week and absolutely dominated today.

HyperDuke is a great guy...hope to catch up with him again.

Tribe shut out UNH for the first time in 220 games (Tribe was also the last team).

17-0 final

Tribe now at #23 in TSN's poll, and T-24 in the coaches poll.

Re: All Things Tribe
Tribe defense allowed a grand total of 10 points from three top 20 teams. Huge game against TU...a win locks up a playoff berth.

RE: All Things Tribe
Tribe won three straight against ODU in MBB. We've beaten them four straight during the REGULAR season before but never three straight until last night.

This win without our All-CAA big man.

ODU basketball has taken a serious nosedive since the school started focusing on football. The promising news is their MBB coach didn't quit midway through the second half.

You can say that again. I hope ODU basketball recovers quickly because a full, loud Ted is a beautiful sight for all Monarchs!

Congrats to the Tribe, and may W&M win the CAA!
