Our Indian family was supposed to be of the Osage Indians....as they were living in the area.

I agree.

I think stAte has done a fantastic job with thier mascot, name, and colors. It is VERY unique in college football and I could easily see it catching on even for non-fans if the team starts doing well and they get more pub on ESPN, SI, CBS etc etc.

Lee Richardson and Arkstfan (owners of the stAte board) were the ones that first started pushing the Red Wolf mascot idea.
I remember doing some wolf logo work for them....gosh...I guess it was 10-12 yrs ago.
