Think the Belt will do better than that. We'll have at least 4 bowl eligible teams this year.

Out of those two.....I'm hoping we get New Orleans this year. When that Mayan thingy happens, I want to go out with a bowl game trophy.

They have Penn St listed in a bowl.....I think that will be one open slot to fill.

It's mid-July for cryin' out loud. Who in their right mind predicts bowl games that are months away? And for the record, I think ASU and ULL will tank this season.

FWIW, I agree that Bowl Projections this early are EXTREMELY silly.

All they do is take the top teams from last year, see if the majority of the startes are back, and fill them in.

But we all bite on it. I know I would be excited if I saw FAU on there.

It looks like Pre-Snap preseason rankings has FIU 13 spots ahead of the Cajuns and 19 ahead of Arkansas St.

We will know tomorrow what his reasons are...

True paper teams don't always win, but papers all we got to go on till the season starts. FAU was the best paper team in 2008, finished third I think? We'll see what happens.

On paper isn't worth much, other than opinions, some more educated and well reserached than others. BTW, FIU wasn't among the best teams on paper in 2010 either.
