Well skippy Temple will be AQ for one season, then it's gone and you're left with the Big East Teams not good enough to get raided by the ACC of Big12...
And it's still better than the ****** MAC.
If you think that way about the MAC, then why are you here? Think you have to defend the team you like everywhere, including a hostile environment?

RE: 2013 Football Recruiting
As just mentioned, 2 star WR Zach Challingsworth switched his commitment from Toledo to Pitt yesterday. So Toledo is at five commitments right now, two of them three stars, one of them two stars, and two of them not rated yet.

Good luck winning the Big East by poaching lowly MAC recruits.
They couldn't beat MAC teams with winning records maybe they will have better luck in the Big Least.

No 2013 commitments for Akron yet. The coaches have been busy securing lots of immediately-eligible transfers and late 2012 recruits, although they have offered quite a large number of players for 2013.

Are there many immediate eligible transfers still out there?
EMU could use a DL or two and maybe a safety.

I think it helps signing at the QB position when Ohio only has 3 QB's on its roster right now.
Jr: Tettleton
RFr: Vick
Fr: Windham
Walsh figures he'll probably redshirt when Tettleton is a senior and after that have a chance to compete directly for the starting spot.

CMU received verbals from 5 players over the last 2 days to bring the total to 11. No ratings for the 5 in Rivals yet.

RE: 2013 Football Recruiting
Toledo got a commit from Detroit Cass Tech defensive back DeJuan Rogers yesterday. He's rated three stars on Scout.com. He had narrowed his list to a final three of Toledo, Syracuse, and Northern Illinois before announcing for Toledo yesterday. He had offers from all three plus most of the other MAC schools.

Yeah, I think Toledo was a little late to the party. He got his UT offer last week and never even visited Toledo's campus before committing to CMU. Kids a good sleeper prospect despite being a 3 star. What I mean by that is that he's not getting much attention from schools, particularly BCS schools. He has a 3 star ranking because a Rivals analyst saw him in person and knows he is a very good offensive tackle. The Chips are doing an impressive job. They have at least double the number of commits compared to any other MAC school.

Helps when you can offer the possibility of being a 4 yr starter. Enos has to be close to the hotseat. CMU could easily be 1-4(0-2 MAC) coming into the Navy game. If the Chips lose to WMU and EMU this season, Dan deserves his walking papers.

Not sure what that means, if that's what athletes are looking for then why doesn't Akron field great classes? Enos appears to be a very good recruiter, it's his coaching that he needs to improve. The AD is behind him so far.
I haven't chimed in on predictions for next year, but I would be really surprised if we don't improve on last years' record.

That may be true, but I hope they win the BE because that will show the rest of the college football world what a fine conference the MAC is when Temple couldn't beat a MAC team with a winning record and couldn't win a division title in the weaker Eastern Division.

To you and others here there will be that assumption. However, to everyone outside of the MAC they won't think of it that way. They'll just say they really improved a lot this year.
