oh come on Legion field isn't that bad now is it? somehow UAB and troy averages about the same butts in seats most years (well not in the last couple as ours has went down), but we get attendance smack thrown at us and you guys don't.
I'm going to say this to you Troy fans; It is better to have a 30k stadium with 18k fans than a 70k stadium with 18k fans.
Legion??? NOT SO BAD?? I have to carry my glock AND wear a BP vest to get to the stadium. LOL J/K:noisycricket:

They always lurk on Troy threads....
its summer, nothing sports wise is going on. Wer that one and still don't think it happened. (go on ahead insert three pe get to beat you like a dead mule in 99 days. Might as well start the smack now, GTT makes my brain hurt. It's formatted so badly so I came over here. Promlem? Its not like I'm smack talking the belt. Just conversing.
and the way you troy fans talk about UAB, you'd think you beat us by 50 every time we played. Either we win by 30 or you guys win by 3. Well except that one hail mary, but I think yall are still in shock ovages of pictures. They're on GTT just link em over here)

Ummm. When has UAB ever beaten TROY by anywhere close to 30???
2011....TROY 24 UAB 23
2010....UAB 34 TROY 33
2009....TROY 27 UAB 14
2006...UAB 21 TROY 3
2005....UAB 20 TROY 7
2003...TROY 20 UAB 9
Last 2 years we have beaten each other by ONE point.
2009 Troy won by 13 points
2006 UAB won by 18 points
2005 UAB won by 13 points
2003 Troy won by 11 points
Since Troy has been in D1. Looks pretty even to me.....Series is at 3-3.....But if you want to include the 1AA days Troy leads that record.

most embarrassing game I have ever been too.
After a warm up game against Alabama State (I hope we can get them on the schedule again soon), We started on Murderers Row- @FSU, @GTech, @Nebraska.
We should have beaten FSU (one of the most exciting games TROY has played in my opinion.)TROY went up 17-10 with about 11 minutes left in the 4th. FSU then drove the field to tie it up 17-17 with about 6 minutes left. On TROY's ensuing possesion Haugabook threw an interception deep in FSU territory to set up FSU's game winning 28 yard drive to take the lead 24-17. On TROY's following possesion Haugabook threw another int to seal the game. We had an estimated 10k fans there (by the FSU announcers estimate).
We were with GTech the whole game (tied 14-14 going into the 4th) until a BS touchdown call broke our backs. Immediate possesion after (maybe next play) had a turnover that led to a TD and we lost 35-20. We did however hold Calvin Johnson aka Megatron to two catches for 9 yards- which in itself is a victory.
Then we went to Nebraska... we didn't feel the need to show up. Lost 56-0 (OUCH!). By the time we got to @UAB we were completely out of gas, and you could tell.
Quote:2005 UAB won by 13 points
- we went 4-7 that year... Congrats to UAB.

I'm torn on football stadium expansion. Yes we desperately need new coach offices and locker rooms and a tunnel so we can get ride of that giant balloon. But I would rather see us get the school's enrollment above 12,000 on campus and a new science building first.

They have been expanding on campus buildings like Crazy.....Its a fact a winning football program grows enrollment at schools. people want to be apart of winners....And the New endzone will look good for future recruits thus bringing more talent to our program and we win. more.

I know lol I'm one of the few people still here for the summer. But that's all nice but something needs to be done about the kicking of upperclassmen out of dorms to make room for freshman...Financial aid covers apartments for a lot of people but I really feel bad for my friends who basically got kicked out.

I can understand that....But dorms are coming my friend....The current band practice field is about to be use for new dorms. And the practice field will be moved to the lower field...
BTW ill be in TROY this Sunday visiting friends! Cant wait to walk around campus!

I agree 110%.
I got kicked off campus and I've been there four years. Apparently people who haven't even stepped a foot on campus are more important...

Not literally "kicked off", but upperclassmen have to enter a lottery to get their rooms back. A lot of people didn't "win" the lottery, myself included.

Oh, that's dumb... Lottery for rooms? You've got more dorms by now, I'd hope.

Nope, the most recent dorm was built back in 2007. We'll have several new dorm complexes built in the next few years, but it's frustrating now that upperclassmen are second class citizens.

There are alot of campuses that only freshmen/sophmores live on campus.
This is what happens when you grow, you run out of room/space for dorms.
The school is just weening out the upperclassmen. In a couple years it will only be the underclassmen that are living on campus.

I was told there was some kind of law or rule mandating that students under the age of 19 were required to live on campus. There was a clause of some sort stating that only if on campus rooms were not available they would be able to live off campus. My guess is they were trying not to get sued. Dumb rule I know, and it may or may not be true.
