Football is definately the last thing I'd be thinking about. Hopefully he has a full recovery. Scary stuff.

Hopefully he gets better. I also hope he makes smart decisions concerning his athletic life. It's painful to see people saved, but then pass on, for not listening to their doctors. A Syracuse player a few years ago had to quit football due to a blood clot. He didn't have a stroke due to the clot, but recovered fully. Hopefully Derrick can, too.

Awful to hear about this in someone so young. Prayers sent.

We are too familiar with the situation though. We had a recruit, Jake Nicolopulos, suffer a stroke his senior year. Dabo honored the scholarship offer and he started at Clemson last fall, serving as a student-coach.

A terrible situation. Thank God it happened at Pitt with one of the best medical facilities close by. Hope he heals well with a full recovery.
