So what gets discussed today?

They are in Destin......I really don't think they are getting a whole lot done down there that has to do with "work".

I can never figure out why work conventions or large scale meetings were in resort locations where work was set to actually happen.

I expect zilch to get announced today, there may be some MAJOR behind the scenes action going on though that we won't hear about this month.

They aren't meeting for zilch. They may not announce anything, but I'd bet the discussing revolves around how many teams they want to end up with. IMHO.

Resorts offer great off-season rates. Much cheaper than meeting in New Orleans.

This is the off-season? It's May, all the college kids are out for the summer.

Resorts also mean people don't show up ticked off that they are forced to be there.

This is the off-season? It's May, all the college kids are out for the summer.

College kids don't take family vacations - many resort rates don't go up until Memorial day weekend.

The EPA may have to close down and decontaminate that beach if Benson is in a Speedo.

Benson and the ADs stopped at McGuires for a beer. After looking at their shrine to Notre Dame, King Karl starts to think maybe we can get the Irish to join.
