South Alabama "snips" Georgia Tech, 4-3 at the Tuscaloosa regionals today. I know it was posted under the UL head, but didn't want anyone to miss it.

I wouldn't say we whipped anyone, but I'm glad to get a W. We have come a long way in just our 6th year as a program. I wonder what the Georgia State fans think about it? I couldn't imagine they care for Georgia Tech, and they don't really care for USA either... lol but we are conference mates now.

Thank you. Lady Jags hopefully will play Bama next. Also hope they televise it.

We left a ton of base runners on base, but both Ga Tech and USA had 9 hits.

These kids are on a roll and have made us all proud thus far.

Congratulations! It would be great to have two regional champions from the Sun Belt this weekend.

Louisiana is blowing open in the fith inning and now leads 7-0 in its first game.

Beating them in baseball while they were ranked was the most satisfying sports win of the year.

The Lady Jags lost 5-2 to #2 Alabama today, and they are currently playing Georgia Tech in the Loser's Bracket. USA is beating Tech 7-0 after 2 innings. If we beat them, which it's looking good so far, we'll have to beat Alabama twice tomorrow. Tall task but it can be done.

USA loses to UA 2-5, "whips" GT 10-1 with run rule to earn another shot at the Tide.
