And for those asking, yes the track is being taken out. We've built a separate track and field complex:

First of all, the TSU stadium looks great. Already planning a trip there.

Second, do the girls in the 6th photo travel to away games and if not, how much would it take to make that happen?

Third, GSU stadium is noce of course and was the mascot logo pulled from Ghostbusters?

MT is in the midst of a multi-million dollar Club Level and Suites enhancement at the football stadium. Will be ready this coming season.

Also, we have 32 Open Air Boxes around the endzone and visitor side of the stadium, which I think is the crown jewel of Johnny Red Floyd.

In 2010 we had returned to the option after 4 very "lean" years. We came into our Homecoming game 4-4 hosting #1 App State and managed to pull off an over time upset. The game was a turning point for a program and solidified the fact that "we were back". This picture was taken after fans rushed the field. Good day to be an Eagle.

I know that it would cost a fortune, but since you're getting rid of the track, why build the endzone facility instead of sinking in the field and adding more seats closer to the action or is that part of phase 2? It seems to me it would make more sense to do that first and add 5k seats then add the second part. The endzone addition makes it a facility to be envied, but why not put seats closer to the action instead. The distance(without a track for an excuse) will become a nuisance to fans once the appeal of the endzone facility wears off.

Mean - Can't sink the field due to water table . . . there is additional phases to cont. expansion in the works

Not 100% but I don't think that the water table is the issue. The beams that the current upgrade is built on go deeper. Money and opportunity cost is what I think was the final on that. But I am willing to go with water table. Either way, not happening.

The endzone complex is already there. Future expansion (already drawn up in phases) will happen as dictated/needed:
bowl in the south end zone
add stands in front of the EZC
add a tier to, and upgrade, the east side which includes more suites

You're probably correct, thought I read somewhere that water table was the issue w/sinking the field, but that certainly may not be the case, in any event . . sinking the field is out . . . am liking this thread, a lot of great pics being posted . .. looking forward to some road trips . . .
