Yea Im hoping we only struggle for a couple, my point is we wont win the conference for a number of years, while we may pay a lot for a coach to come in and win, the other belt schools will be trying to win as well. Should be fun though and can't wait!

I don't expect us to win the conference immediately. I am hoping to be a contender for the conference title after a couple years that we get under our belt. I can't speak for Sun Belt schools but Liberty won't just sit around and be content to just be able to play football. Liberty is in it to win it and if they don't then they will get someone who will. That's what I meant by my statement and not that Liberty would be the only school wanting to build a winner.

RE: FCS Schools to BCS Conferences
It will be tougher than most fans want to believe to transition to FBS after being FCS for years. Good thing that we have never relied on BCS/FBS transfers, the few we have ever had did not work out, including a couple of four star SEC linemen that we got over the years.
We are in a unique location butting up to the areas of four CUSA teams now. Am sure will have some OOC games with them in the coming years. Will, in several ways, be good to be in a different conference, if SB takes us in. Can use it to help our recruiting if we play it right. Every win over one of those four will help tremendously, and that shouldn't be a huge problem hopefully. Historically we have great winning records against the two older ones, and with going to FBS that will give us more of an even playing field. Can't wait.

I'd take GSU and AppSt
1 - App owes us a home game because they bought out their game in San Marvelous on a home and home during our best season.
2 - We play triple option teams well...just ask Nicholls State and GSU
