With ODU possibly to conference USA you guys should want a Virginia school to compete against ODU recruits thus another belt victory. Not to mention enough teams for a championship game

No offense, but if a Virginia school gets added, its got to be JMU.

I'm not sure JMU has even said they want to go up, have they?

No offense, but you are in the same boat as us right now, no position to be talking down programs.

They've been on the phone with other FCS schools trying to moving up. Cant imagine they'd turn the offer down, especially if App/GeorgiaSouthern left. Theyre almost a mirror image of App. I believe their boosters just got a letter on the realignment too, got to ask the JMU fans about that.

New Conference Map
I would like to see Sunbelt or CUSA add NMSU. I feel bad for their fans if they get left out. Poor Idaho is just gonna have to go Big Sky.

Are you JMU's publicist? I guess we will have to see this play out, but with Bill Carr from Carr sports making comments like "Liberty is the most ready to move" that he's seen, I think Liberty is set up well. Thankfully comissioners and comissioners don't do their research on message boards.

Hey, you want to pursue an invite, knock yourself out. Im just of the opinion JMU would be a better match for the Sun Belt. Thats my opinion, not speaking for anyone else.

Well I for one would love to see App and Liberty go at it every year. So I hope you are wrong05-mafia although I would love to see JMU go against us three as well (at the FBS level)

We've already got the rivalry with JMU, another would be fine by me. I just want to watch some good FB.

Unfortunately, the FBS spots are severely limited.

CUSA is welcome to take NMSU.

The problem with NMSU is the same reason they didn't fit last time.

You see, we took Denver to help out USU, Idaho, and NMSU, then all three of them left and we were stuck with Denver for 7 years.

What happens if we take NMSU and then Texas State leaves? Another far outlier. Additions need to work even if their nearest team leaves.

Yea we got that going with JMU too, we had a 4 year deal that we only played 3 straight years and all of them were close with the last 2 games being 3 point JMU victories, but JMU and Liberty hate each other! We are only an hour and a half or so away from them.

No, i think Denver left so you aren't stuck anymore. I thought I read they are back to the WAC or something.

Appy and JMU are the only real options here in the Mid Atlantic. Public, non-discriminatory, institutions with great facilities and fans.

Insanity must be nice. There is no comparison between what those two schools would bring to the SBC.

I think Texas State is here to stay. They are Sun Belt till the end now. 04-cheers

I am still against bringing in NMSU though, let C-USA have 'em.
