As an undergrad, I had an ol' high school buddy who went to FSU come up for a weekend. He asked if there was something in the water: "How the hell does some school in backwater South Georgia have the largest gathering of the finest women I've ever seen in my life!?!?" He made a point of returning for at least one game every fall.

This wasnt an argument. It's a fact. Football was started at Southern to balance the genders. So you have good looking coeds at Southern. What university of more than 10k doesnt unless youre an engineering school? What I said was factual. The reason for football was to attract 18 and 19 year old males to Statesboro.

Is that supposed to be smack talk or something? Who cares why we started. The point is we DID start football and are pretty dang good at it.

These pissing contests are getting tiresome to read. These circle jerks turn in to "my dad can beat up your dad" arguments. Post some legitimate info or STFU.

I just want them off my lawn. I don't want to talk to them. I don't want them in my conference and I don't want people associating my school with them. We avoid them like the plague and they follow us. And now Troy is in love with them. I wish we could go a month, just one month, without them showing up.
