I would not say that is the case for MT.

That's fair to want to bring up. But that was the Sun Belt of 2001, 2002, and 2004. This is the Sun Belt of 2012. The Belt is much stronger now. NMSU hasn't improved at the same rate that the Sun Belt has. Honestly, I'm not sure NMSU has improved at all in that time.
