In terms of what EMU deserves, I would say this year the team could actually be in the top half of D1. Not definitely, but the potential is there.

Well we are better then 104 place (Maryland has it).. We are moving toward the double ##.. I am still believing in us reaching the lower 80's.. Has anyone changed their views since? I must say its still a long way to go to get there and every few days I'm checking to see if we are listed..

The list is 120 schools but excludes 4 others transitioning to FBS (e.g., UMass).

This means that there are 25 schools per quartile (bottom fifth, next higher fifth, middle fifth, etc.).

So we have already avoided the dreaded lowest quartile grouping...

EMU, among knowledgeable fans, is a program on the rise.

Just a gut reaction among those following college FB CAREFULLY that this program is getting stronger in terms of coaching, organization building, recruiting, etc.

I'd started the day off right then I read the CFN projection for EMU football for the 2013 season. They have us going 4-8, wtf me, emusteve, kpj, Sam, Huron, michman etc could have this record or better.. Let me go suit-up

I am not too sure on how much trust I should place on this.. Right now I say zero.. It is going to be sweet to look back on these projections at the end of the season when ee are talking bowl games.. I recall last season when the nation were talking about the chances of this happening. it was a very good feeling.. I like being the underdog in sports..

UMass (not listed because they are new to FBS), Akron, and UB deserve to be there.

Maybe CMU? I'm not sure.

I doubt Miami should be that low.
