Bobcat fans are finally snapping out of the conference realignment depression. We are glad to be members of the Sunbelt!!!!!!! We have just added to Bobcat Stadium making the capacity 30,000. http://www.txstatebobcats.com/sports/201...spx?id=284

We have 34,000 students and recently been upgraded by the state to an emerging research university. We have 500 students in our engineering school and added a nursing school to our Round Rock campus.

Your transition year is this year right?
Maybe yall will jump right in?

As I understand it this will be year two of our transition so we should be able to jump right in during the 2013 season.

Weird to be headed this way when we aren't even officially a part of the WAC yet.

In 2012 we're still in transition - considered FBS as far as bowl eligibility for our opponents, though not ourselves. We'll be full FBS and bowl eligible in 2013.

Welcome Texas State! You were one of the teams I hoped the Sun Belt could get in case we lost any teams.

at uta we have over 4200 in the engineering school...just saying...anyhow it's good to out of the southland conf.
