Im glad to see it back on Saturday. Competeing against the NFL was just crazy.

The start time sounds good too. Breakfast tailgate, followed by game, followed by wild celebration into the night down Bourban street as we kick CUSA's arse again. 04-rock

RE: New Orleans Bowl Moves to 11AM Kickoff
It was Saturday Night this year. I can see how a daytime game will help New Orleans make more money from fans though, because by the time we got out of the game at 11:00 PM or so, we were pretty much spent.

After the game, I did enjoy a quiet drink with my friends Zee and Hammer and we reflected on the memories of the years that had led to that moment. 04-cheers

After that, I crashed! I had an early morning flight back to California. It would have been fun to celebrate on Bourbon Street following the game.

The Music City Bowl has done the same thing. 11 A.M. start on New Year's Eve. It allows fans to come in Friday night/Saturday, stay the weekend, go to the game, take a nap then party on broadway/2nd ave New Year's Eve.
It's absolutely done to sell more food, more hotels and more booze.

Ya know as bad as some people are on this board, they'll never be at the level Bama/UT/Ark/OU/LSU fans are at. The arrogance, ignorance of their own school, and sense of entitlement is what makes my blood boil. I don't even hate the worst LT poster as much as I hate Texas and the zombies that follow them for no reason other than it's popular to do.

Its bc most of us are actual alums or have ties to the university we follow, not the t-shirt fans that most BCS schools have.

Substitute "LSU" for "Texas" and you'd sound like a Cajun fan.
