There's not a whole lot of taking up for ULM on this board, I wouldn't complain in your position...

I just try to stay above juvenile mudslinging internet fights, although I do get drawn in on occasion. I know it is the internet but, as a whole, I like to talk sports and not jumpt straight down the rabbit hole. There are folks who like to take good natured shots, especially after a good game. Most folks on here will come on a congratulate the fans of another school after a loss. And there are some who want to turn every single thread into a back and forth and get it dumped into the smack folder. Sad really.

Anything short of 25,000 should be dissapointing, and under 20,000 should be enough for them to really look themselves in the mirror. Hopefully though, ULM pumps up and puts a sellout crowd in the stadium for this game.
That won't happen. It's a guarantee there will be more Baylor fans than ULM fans...I would bet my bottom dollar on it.
Cajunhawk...would you be interested in a little friendly wager?
Sure thing...if ULM gets over 25,000 for this game...I will forever refer to my university as ULL. If ULM does draw over 25,000, you have to call us by our given name...UL and Louisiana. Sound good to you?
No deal. When someone say "I would bet my bottom dollar on it" (keyword dollar) than the bet is money. You set the price.
Cajunhawk, because I'm a kind hearted person I'll give you 2 to 1 odds.

As a ULM fan can you really put a price on a Cajun fan having to refer to his school as ULL?

Just kidding. Good game for the Warhawks and night games are better early in the season in LA. Better than Wright Waters putting the Cajuns and stAte on TV at 2:00 in September two years ago.
What network was that game on?
It was regional television...thats all I remember. For a game on regional TV, we were forced to play a game in 100 degree heat. It was a lot of no fun.
The actual field temperature during that game was 118 degrees. The took the temp 2 feet from where I was standing. Our guys came back too within a touch down when our bench finally got shaded in the 4th
That was the last home game I missed, had a pregnant wife and it was just too darn hot. The next season I got season tickets in the shaded area, worth its weight in gold.
I honestly think that had we been in the shade the whole game we would have won that game. Of course had we won that game Roberts would still be our coach. So the last two years would have been a lot different.

Haha. No. If I was in the area I'd for sure stop by and cheer on the Hawks against Baylor. Big game for ULM and big game for the SBC.
