Liberty is a non-factor in conference realignment.

Nothing to see here.

You're answer sounds remarkably like;

"This is not the team you're looking for.............you can go about your business............move along."

Damn I'm getting old.

If we were going that route, I'd rather have ORU, But, I hope we don't expand.

We all have a team or two that we would recommend. Don't feel bad, my suggestions got laughed at also.01-wingedeagle

People probably laughed when Troy was an expansion candidate when they saw the school size and city. I'm starting to not care who it is long as it isn't some really bad team like Jax State.

RE: Want a good laugh?
Troy was having success at football, I don't remember there being any lack of desire to have Troy in the league. I think y'alls dislike of Jax St is a little much. The only difference between Troy and Jax St is that Troy made the move as an independent, well you can't do that anymore.

Jax St, Appy St have both been successful in there level of play. True Jax St doesn't have the NC, but they are regularly ranked in the top 25, even number one a few times over the last couple years.

Do I think that either of these teams could have the success that Troy has had over the last 10 years, absolutely. So stop being scared of Jax St and get over it. 05-stirthepot

Wow, I can't believe a couple of them wondered if their administration would turn down a GoDaddy.com bowl invite due to their commercials; I know they are a religious school, but come on.

I mean this is all seriousness, and this is before I read their ridiculous rantings about how great they are...but I literally didn't know that Liberty had a football team, I thought they were a D1 non-football member. I guess you learn something new every day.

I had known, but only because they played NC State just before we did last year. Apparently gave em a pretty good run too.

I have to laugh at the GoDaddy.com comment from their base. If that's what any percent of their base or admin feels like, they are doomed. DOOMED! Or maybe I should've said damned. DAMNED!
