Facilities, major vs. Mid major and based on Tennessees pkay tonight a shot to play early next year for the Vols. It helped some, but remember this win was against the preseason 11th place team in the s.e.c.
Hell of a win though.

Minnesota up 23 on Miami with 12 minutes left.

MTSU is going to get a freaking home game to make New York City. Who woulda thunk it. Hope they sell it out.

How will MT get a home game? Don't they give the home game to best attendance school during the nit, I figure that would be Minnesota?

NIT gives the better seed the right to host. Only if the better seed has a reason they can't play the home game (like Dayton because their arena was being used for the NCAA tournament) does the lesser seed get to host.

That was years ago when the NIT was privately run. Since the NCAA took it over a few years ago, they began seeding the tournament, and gave host rights to the higher seed regardless of where they played.

A few years ago Creighton got to host Kentucky in the NIT for that very reason...

He needs to be a little more relaxed or confidant in some of these situations.

Not sure if ewetee scored after the "T". Not all of his T's a good ones, but this particular one was.

It does. This is bigger than going out in the first round for us. I said for "us". Probably not for a team with the tradition of that school to the North that wears red.

You're correct. Indiana would NOT savor NIT wins.

Bruce Massey played a hell of a game; he lead MT in every major statistical category.

I really doubt we sell out on two days notice on church night. Given the circumstances, surpassing 7,500 would be a success.

CUSAbbs posted a congrats thread for MTSU's win over UT-K. It's definitely something wonderful (with us having Memphis).

Great work, guys!

I am not an overt MTSU fan but I enjoyed the game last nite........I turned on the TV and my wife walked in and asked who was playing so we sat and watched the last 8 minutes.......for you guys by far the best 8 minutes.........I wanted to watch more since Marcos Knight played at Chipola last year and Kermit coached here several years ago I was definitely pulling for you guys and vicariously for the Belt.........Great game and exciting..........by the way "Tweety" Trentell Knight will be coming your way next year and he plays the same type of game as his brother..........Good luck the rest of the tourney. Look forward to all my visits to the Boro and will this year as well at the end of football season...and will then probably watch you guys at the NEW Trojan Arena in BB......Again good luck......

Chipola is a JUCO located in Marianna Florida for those who do not know what I am talking about.......I live there.

Last night, I was at the game, and it will forever be one of the best games/ events I have ever been to. And as a MT fan, I would love to invite all SunBelt fans to Murphy Center tomorrow night. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at goblueraiders.com. As long as you cheer for MT, you can wear any color. I say, as a conference, we should support this team all the way to New York!!! SUNBELT!!!
