Maybe..but we want to stay one step ahead of the sun belt
Well maybe one day yall will get back there. As it stands now you guys are not.
I'd say that's about all they are right now. One step ahead.

I have plenty of respect for Southern Miss and ECU, but I have absolutely no respect for the Alliance of Leftovers.

UCA out of the Southland took them to overtime at home. I ain't skeert.
Yeah and then got destroyed by stAte... I think LTU will be a competitor in the Sun Belt Conference, but they'll be challenged by pretty much everyone. All about the same level.
Aside from football, how does Tech compare ? Football is not the only conference sport. What do they bring in basketball and other sports. Would they help, hurt the conference RPI. How does their attendence compare ? Etc.....etc......etc......
Exactly - that's all people talk about is football. Basketball is big too.
Their men's basketball team is 13-14 this year and has averaged 3197 fans a game. Their RPI (according to RealTimeRPI's RPI from a few days ago) was #200 prior to their 84-62 win over Central Arkansas. Compared to the Sun Belt Conference, that would rank 7th, behind MT (36th), Denver (89th), Louisiana (161st), UALR (171st), USA (176th), and FAU (180th). Their attendance would rank sixth, behind Denver (5527), MT (5035), UNT (4006), WKU (3713), and Louisiana (3568). Women's basketball RPI is 170th and their record is 14-12. Averaging 3078 in attendance.
---------Does ANYBODY possible in any way believe that Tech averaged 3K in b-ball---Please---Does anybody with Tarps included believe that the averaged what was given in Football----Check out the photos of the Cajuns and the 30K that they averaged and then get a Tech shot with tarps and all----How belittling to actually put tarps in your stadium because of poor attendance and then come with these size crowds------Hopefully the bull crap stops here---Give us a photo of this years f-ball or B-ball games!!!!!!

Men lost 82-57 to NMSU
Women lost 89-61 to Fresno
(Quote from the Tech board posted on CUSA board.)
Championship Game: NM State vs. LA Tech
I'm embarrassed for our University today guys. I mean ass whoopings everywhere. No fan presence at the Tournament, no band, no cheerleaders, MAYBE 10 total fans there (if you don't count the President, his wife, the ad, and other admin officials and their spouses), we had to borrow another University's band and pep squad, on national tv, etc. I mean today was horrific and can get swept into the dustbin of history for all I care.
