what exit do i take in murphreesboro to bypass the scottsville road from hell scenario?

i've taken it in the past and it swings by some corporate buildings on the right. probably built up more now but not in the past. i believe it's where the state farm building is but could be wrong on that. it's been awhile.

much easier way to get to the university. i can plug the address in the alpine but i'm skeered it'll take me the other way.

i know it's not the first exit but can't remember which one it was.

thanks in advance.

Let me help.

Take the Medical Center Parkway exit. You can take it down to the road where Toots is and hang a right. Not too far before you take another right at the BP station to head to the Murph.

Or, you can take MCP even farther till it intersects, but you'll have gone past the BP. You can turn right onto Memorial and then turn left at the BP.

Raider, correct me if I'm wrong.

Doesn't sound correct to me at all...

-Left onto Medical Center Pkwy from 24, exit 64
-Keep going....
-Keep going...
-"Oh Toots!!" Keep going...
-Left onto Memorial. (at the paint store)
-Right onto Clark (at the BP/CVS/MapCo/UHaul)
-Keep going...
-Left onto Greenland at the campus.

Thanks for clearing it up. I had a senior moment about whether to take a left or right onto memorial if you went past Toot's.

But to answer 'beed's question, it is the Medical Center Parkway exit.

we certainly do. i coached in the hood for years. my son was the only blanquito on the team.

in addition to the brother hood we have the following:

the mexican hood
the central american hood
the bosnian hood

no habla in any of 'em when they don't want to. lots of unique 'tagging' on the walls of buildings in bg as well.

don't get me wrong....it's not orange mound in pimphis but they're not germantown either.

We have a Little 'Nam.

If you get to the 'Boro early enough, that route takes you by Pogue's new Restaurant, called appropriately "Blue". I hear he is offering specials to WKU fans. It is behind Toot's in the strip mall.

I highly recommend it. Had my b-day dinner there, in fact. Nascar hats allowed

I've heard talk of a Western pregame at Old Chicago, go to the next exit after Medical Center(Old Fort Pkwy) and make sure you take it towards Murfreesboro(not Franklin) and go through your first light(Thompson lane) and take a right at the second light(Prince) into the target shopping center, left at the three way stop, and you'll pull around to Old Chicago. I'm not positive if it's all day, but the Thursday special is $2.50 25oz Bud, Bud Lt, Miller Lt, Coors Lt, and Yuengling.
