Im not sure if we made anything, however we sold enough tickets that we did not end up in the red.

I disagree, as does Malzahn or he would not have taken the job and while the schedule is tougher, and the SBC better, ASU is capable of another ten win season next year.

WKU, FIU, and UL are also poised and capable of getting on a big-time run, and Troy can never be counted out. MTSU, UNT, ULM,FAU, and of course USA are a little behind right now.

I’m giving ASU the edge because they are coming off a 10 win season, will have the best offense on the field in 10 or 11 of their games next year, have the players to address their major questions on defense, and they have an even better coaching staff.

After next year ASU should only be playing one game against an AQ power, and should have a shot at beating them.

Difference for ASU is that they will not have the better defense on the field in most of their games next year. It might turn into the Wolves having to outscore the opposition in the big numbers and still only win by a handful of points.

I don't believe that is even close to being accurate.

ASU will have the best defense on the field in nearly all of their games next year.

I wouldnt say that. We lost a lot on the defensive line, however the guys in the secondary who were making plays at the end were much younger. We're switching to a 3-4 next year to keep as many of those on the field as possible.

we'll have some weaknesses next year, but while we may have a small drop off defensively, I dont see a lot of big issues on that side of the ball.
