This is a bigger game for Pitt this season. After losing two players like they did and now they are coming together. Pitt will be a tough win from this point on.

03-woohoo Scoop and Joseph wanted it bad. I'm sure it was more important for Boeheim to help them achieve their goal, than tie Rupp.

Within a few years you should have two good guards with Johnson and Robinson coming in.

We need Woodall back. With him in there we move Ashton back to the shooting position and we get a much better ball handler and passer in the lineup. Based on what I saw against Marquette and Syracuse we are starting to come together. Whether we can do it in time to salvage the season remains to be seen.

We've got help coming in the middle next year when 7'1" Steve Adams gets here. The loss of Birch and Woodall has really hurt this team. We might have dealt with either or, but both really threw this team into a tailspin.

If Pitt played well against Marquette and Syracuse, then they will do fine against most of the remaining Big East. I admire that they never gave up. Props to Dixon for keeping their heads in the game.

I haven't heard the announced attendance, but the view shows about mid 20K's.

I think they said it was 24,824.

Per ESPN official Box core, Attendance: 24,826. You're off by 2, but since your boys haven't played in the Dome in a while, we can cut you some slack in your count. 04-cheers

I think I heard the announcer say the same as you posted. Regardless, if Tech keeps playing well as they have done the last few years, they can expect to see crowds like this.

When Syracuse sells 30,000+ to a home basketball game, are all those $35-$40 a ticket or are the upper deck seats cheaper?

Upper deck are cheaper tickets. But there isnt a bad seat in the house. I have sat all over the Dome and have never had a bad seat.

Upper deck seats are not cheaper unless they are long range seats when we start getting past 33K. Anyone 12+ or not a student is paying $35 for a Big East game. I have long been against Syracuse charging a 13 year old $35 to go to a basketball game. I feel they should move the age for a youth ticket back up to 18.

I've on more than one occasion paid $25 for tickets in the upper deck for basketball without there being a sellout.
